Here is a sampling of news coming from ISD campus and through our social media accounts, thanks to our impressive alumni, faculty/staff, and students.

We were thrilled to welcome nearly 100% of our parents at our Primary Student-Parent-Teacher Conferences last week. This biannual event provided a valuable opportunity for parents, students, and teachers to collaborate on learning goals for the rest of the school year. 📚🎯
💡 What we focused on: ✅ Reviewing progress, strengths & areas for growth ✅ Setting learning goals for the next term ✅ Addressing challenges & concerns ✅ Strengthening the home-school partnership ✅ Guiding parents on supporting learning at home
Parents also explored a variety of school services such as, our school nutritionist who provided meal plan guidance, our ManageBac supervisor assisted with troubleshooting, and parents signed up for Session 3 ASAs.
Grade 1 Unit Celebration: How We Express Ourselves! 🎨🎬
Our Grade 1 students explored the power of technology in expressing creativity! Through stop motion animation, digital art, and music, they brought their ideas to life, shared their work with peers, and reflected on their own learning journeys. 🌟💡
It was fabulous to see parents and teachers celebrate and enjoy their work. 🚀🎭
Our whole school community celebrated Pohela Falgun, which marks the first day of spring in Bangladesh with fun, food and laughter. We enjoyed this special seasonal day with cultural performances and song and dance! 🌼💃 🌸
Thank you to our Sunshine Committee for organizing the event and everyone for participating and making #boshonto a vibrant day to remember! ☀️
Welcome Dr. Michael Palmer as our new Primary Principal!
