🎉 CELEBRATING OUR TEACHING COMMUNITY 🎉

Our international teaching community at #ISD helps to inspire and get our students ready for the world ahead. Their expertise and internationalism is what makes our school community and campus a special place to be. 🏫

Claudia Costa, Head of Language, is a Portuguese polyglot 🌟 with over 20 years of experience in education. She speaks 5 languages (English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, and German) fluently and is a mum of 3 children 👩‍👧‍👦 who all study at ISD.

Hear about her career to date and how teaching is a truly rewarding experience for Claudia. 🎓✨

During the last service day of the school year, #ISD students created science books for children who lack access to textbooks in school. 📚 Our students held a reading session to personally share their learning experiences about the topics they chose for their books. These ranged from air pollution 🌫️, the human body 🧠, and the seasons of the year to ecosystems and the Earth’s layers 🌋.

A great initiative

The final service day of the school year was celebrated with our community partners: Families for Children (FFC), Utsho Bangladesh, LEF for Life, Abinta Kabir Foundation, Bashudhara Special Children Foundation, Solmaid Community School Foundation, and WaterAid Bangladesh.

Students enjoyed a range of activities throughout the day including sports, performing arts, and several creative learning experiences all round! 🎭🏅🎨

It was a fabulous fun-filled day celebrating our community spirit and giving back.
