International School Dhaka (ISD) is an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School in Dhaka, Bangladesh that was established in 1999. The school enrolls students in the age range of 2–18, from Playgroup through to Grade 12, providing an international education for local and expatriate children living in Bangladesh. There are over 70 international teachers or administrators from about 26 different nationalities. The school is recognized by the Bangladesh Ministry of Education and is accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS), the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC), and authorized by the International Baccalaureate Organization (IB).

Promoting World Peace is hard work and our Hawks are ready for MUN 2025! 🌎✌🏼
The Model United Nations (MUN) is an engaging club known around the world, starting as early as middle school, continuing into high school and university. #MUN is focused around introducing students to the objectives and processes of the United Nations, promoting #international #peace and cooperation amongst all nations. The MUN provides students with real world scenarios, tasks them with utilizing UN methods and tools to find solutions to major #global issues.
Students involved get opportunities to develop skills in research, writing, communication, leadership, conflict resolution and much more. Students who have MUN experience are better received within their university applications and gain academic and professional skills that will aid them in their futures.
We are extremely excited for our students who are attending this year’s MUN conference in Doha, Qatar, next week. Our Hawks will get exposed to new ideas as well as new students during the conference. They have already put in a lot of work preparing for their roles as country representatives.
We wish them the very best, as they join 27 other international schools and 1200 participants at the MUN Conference 2025. 👍🏽💪🏼
