International School Dhaka - Join the Journey
International School Dhaka (ISD) is an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School in Dhaka, Bangladesh that was established in 1999. The school enrolls students in the age range of 2–18, from Playgroup through to Grade 12, providing an international education for local and expatriate children living in Bangladesh. There are over 70 international teachers or administrators from about 26 different nationalities. The school is recognized by the Bangladesh Ministry of Education and is accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS), the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC), and authorized by the International Baccalaureate Organization (IB).
The most important participants in the learning process - student, teacher and parent.
Our recent Secondary 3-Way Conference involved parents, students and teachers to reflect on student progress and setting future goals.
It was fabulous to see so many parents and students attend and strengthen the all important home-school partnership that is essential for academic excellence. 🎓👏🏼

Last week, our primary students had an unforgettable experience learning from legendary Sharon Lowen, an American Odissi dancer! Over the course of the week, students learned the art of Odissi dance, and discovered how to tell stories and express emotions through graceful movements.
Students ended the week of new learnings with an on stage performance at ISD Auditorium. It was fabulous to see so many young dancers showcase their hard work and newfound skills to an excited audience.
We are proud to offer this as an extension to our performing arts curriculum, to help students build confidence, creativity, and a connection to cultural expression.
