APPLICATION & DEPOSITS

Application Fee

A one-time application fee of $250 must accompany each application form. This non-refundable fee covers the administrative work involved in processing an application. A non-refundable Admission Fee of $8,000 must be received after a student has been accepted and before a place can be confirmed.

Admission Fee

Students admitted into Playgroup, Nursery or

Pre-Kindergarten pay the $8,000 in yearly installments.

Deposit

A one-time payment of $500 is payable for a new student and is refundable on their final departure (after deduction of outstanding charges).

TUITION FEES

Tuition fees are paid per term; there are two terms per academic year. Term 1 tuition fees are payable in May. Term 2 tuition fees are payable in Nov.

Week Without Walls Fees

These fees cover overseas and local trips depending on the student's grade-level and are payable in May with Term 1 tuition fees. These fees are mandatory for all students from Grades 4 – 11

Lost or Damaged Text Books

A set of text books is loaned to each student. At the end of the year, or earlier for transferring students, the books must be returned in the condition in which they were issued, allowance being made for fair wear and tear. A charge will be made for textbooks/library books lost or damaged beyond the accepted standard.

Extra-curricular Activities and School Campus

We understand the value of extra-curricular activities in helping to provide a well-rounded and balanced school experience. Some activities are free of charge, other options incur an additional charge. ISD parents should direct any payment inquiries to the Finance Office.

Exam Fees

External exam fees, for students taking these options, are in addition to the school fees with ISD taking these payments directly for the full IB Diploma Programme.

INVOICES

ISD sends invoices 2 times a year (one per term). These are sent electronically.

Invoices for the 2024-2025 academic year will be issued and due on the following dates below:

1st Term Invoice issue date: 3 June 2024

1st Term Invoice due date: 3 July 2024

2nd Term Invoice issue date: 1 November 2024

2nd Term Invoice due date: 30 November 2024

Invoices must be settled in full within the published due date (see list above).

PROCEDURES

Refund Policy

All fees are non-refundable after the start of school classes.

Late Fees

Should any tuition fees be paid after the payment due date noted on the invoice, a late fee of USD250 will be charged for each student in the first month and an additional USD250 in the second month.

The late payment of tuition fees will result in a student not being permitted to attend school until the fees and penalty payment are received in full.

Non-payment of Fees

Students whose fees are not fully paid by the due date will be excluded from their classes. Student records and progress reports will not be released to parents or to any other educational institutions until all outstanding fees are paid in full.
