At International School of Dhaka, athletics are an integral part of the entire school experience. Athletics have the ability to unify a campus, and community, as student-athletes take to the field, court, track, and pool in pursuit of athletic excellence. The athletics program at ISD would not be able to operate without the hard work of our coaches, teachers, administration, custodial and grounds crew, office staff, and Physical Education support staff. Most importantly, success begins with supportive families at home.
Most of the ISD sports teams currently compete against the local international schools, which comprises Canadian International School, Grace International School, American International School Dhaka, Delhi Public School, and Sunnydale School. Each sport’s tournaments are implemented to make sure athletes are able to compete against other local athletes.
Please come out and support all of our athletic teams this year. Our student-athletes have worked hard to prepare for their contests and thrive off of the support that our fans can provide. Be encouraging and uplifting to the Hawks student-athletes, and be equally polite and gracious to our opponents. Let’s enjoy another great year!
