Next week, we will be reviewing and planning community-based improvement initiatives for ISD as part of the long-term school improvement goals we are committed to developing. This important step in future of ISD as we enter our 25th year will involve hosting our partners from International School Services (ISS) to collaborate and plan new strategic priorities with school stakeholder groups This will include staff who have chosen to attend focus groups to give feedback as well as the core team group of around 20 school community representative whose task will be to generate goals and plans for the new ISD Strategic Plan (based on this feedback). The initiative will be led in school by Mr Tom Hawkins, ISS Vice-President, assisted by Mr. Steve Plisinski our ISS School Partner, who will both be on campus in these group meetings from Sunday 28 January to Thursday 1 February.
Parent Information Meeting
All ISD parents are invited to attend a general information session on the benefits, expectations and process we will follow to develop the school’s future learning plans, student activities, facilities and community development. We sincerely hope you can join Mr Tom Hawkins in this meeting at 14:30-15:15 in Room 016 (Secondary Building)
Parent Focus Group Meeting
Invited parents will participate in the Parent Focus Group.They will meet on Sunday 28 January at 10:30-11:30 in room 016 (Secondary Building). The purpose of this group is to provide input into the strategic planning process.
Core Team Meetings
Parents who have been nominated, and have agreed to be part of the Core Team will meet on Monday 29 January from 13:30-16:00 and on Tuesday 30 January from 08:00-15:00. Meetings will also be held in room 016 (Secondary Building).
