During the last summer camp, young innovators took part in a week-long learning experience in the world of robotics. We’re thrilled to share their journey and achievements.
Day 1: Building Foundations Campers dove into the basics of robotics with VEX IQ and VEX EXP, setting a strong foundation for the days ahead.
Day 2: Programming Mastery Students unlocked the power of coding, learning to program the robot’s brain—an essential skill for bringing their creations to life.
Day 3: Precision in Motion The focus turned to mastering robot movements, as campers skillfully controlled the ARM, Claw, and Drive Train with precision.
Day 4: Sensor Integration Digital sensors were the stars of the day, enabling robots to respond intelligently to their surroundings, adding a new layer of sophistication to their projects.
Day 5: The Subterranean Challenge In an epic finale, campers tackled the Subterranean Challenge, using analog sensors to navigate randomized rooms and complete complex tasks autonomously.
Congratulations to all participating students. We’re immensely proud of the creativity, problem-solving skills, and technical expertise our campers displayed throughout the week. We can’t wait to see what they achieve next in the field of robotics!
