On October 6th, we joined the global celebration of UNESCO World Teachers’ Day, a special occasion dedicated to recognizing the incredible work of teachers around the world. At ISD, we are proud to honor our amazing faculty—the heart and soul of our school.
Whether sparking curiosity in the classroom, fostering creativity, or encouraging resilience, our teachers shape the future, one lesson at a time. They dedicate themselves to guiding our students toward their goals, and today, we take a moment to appreciate everything they do.

School Calendar Update for Eid Ul Adha April 10, 2025 In response to the government’s announcement of one additional official holidays for Eid Ul Adha on June 5,…
[…] The Grade 2 students had their Unit Celebration on the 7th of October. The Solamid grade 2 students joined us for the special event as did the parents. The students researched celebrations that take place around the world and became ‘experts’. As part of their presentation, the students created informative posters and the design team assisted the students in making beautiful iMovies which the students used to teach the parents and students about their celebrations. The performing and visual art teams helped the students in their presentations, teaching them songs and dances as well as making stunning pieces of art incorporating the symbols of the festivals. The Bangla and French departments organized presentations on Eid and Bastille Day with the singing of an Eid celebration song and the French national anthem. As part of our unit celebration, we invited the rest of the primary students to participate in a Songkran celebration. Students brought in donations so that they could support our action of buying school backpacks for the Solmaid grade 2 students. Thank you to everyone who donated. Your contribution made a difference and has allowed us to buy these students their much needed backpacks. We hope the primary students had a wonderful time celebrating Songkran with us. […]
