Unit Celebrations in the PYP are an opportunity for students to showcase their learning and demonstrate the understanding they have gained throughout a unit of inquiry. This celebration can take place at any point during the inquiry cycle and allows students to reflect on and share their knowledge with their peers, teachers, and sometimes their families.
Coming up on Thursday the 6th of January is the Grade 1 Unit Celebration as part of their inquires into How We Express Ourselves. Grade 1 students embraced their roles as LEGO Engineers! Students throughout the unit have worked with Design teachers, their Homeroom teacher and Performing Arts to create a video for their LEGO Structures! As part of this fun and creative learning experience students worked with Stop Motion to develop their Tech Skills!
Grade 1 students cannot wait to showcase their videos to the ISD Community!
