ISD Model United Nations (MUN) Travels to Doha MUN Conference

This year, 12 students were selected for the ISD MUN team, ranging from grades 9, 10, and  11. Selected students will attend the Georgetown MUN Spring conference in Doha, Qatar. Our students are very eager to represent a variety of countries as delegates and they will also serve on various committees throughout the conference that will discuss, debate, and work to solve world issues. We travel Wednesday, Feb 12 and students will be attending the conference from Thursday until Saturday evening. This is an excellent opportunity to represent our school at a very prestigious MUN conference with 27 other international schools in attendance. The conference will host around 1200 student participants. 

The MUN experience at Georgetown University in Qatar promises to be both academically rewarding and personally transformative. It offers ISD students a unique chance to broaden their perspectives, develop essential life skills, and forge meaningful connections that will continue to benefit them long after the conference. This experience will empower, enrich, and inspire them to become responsible global citizens and lifelong learners, motivated to contribute to making the world a better place for all.
