At ISD, PYP student-led assemblies are more than just presentations—they are an opportunity for holistic student development. They empower our students to become confident Communicators, empathetic leaders, and active members of their learning community. By fostering these skills and values, ISD is nurturing globally-minded individuals who are prepared to make a positive impact in the world.
The Grade 5 PYP Assembly Ambassadors; Afraz, Aara, Nusayba, Salman, Shamiha and Sofiea have volunteered to lead and liaise with educators to plan and prepare for each assembly. They share updates on the weather forecast, pollution levels and on upcoming events in the PYP. The students work hard to connect the assemblies to our school values. During the assembly this week the students will share a poem and video regarding kindness.
