The grand finale of the Global Change It Challenge 2025 was an extraordinary event, bringing together some of the brightest young minds from across the world. Six teams, representing Bangladesh, China, India, Indonesia, South Korea, and Thailand, took the stage to showcase their outstanding presentations, research, and innovative solutions to address some of the world’s most pressing challenges.
The 12 talented finalists traveled to Melbourne, Australia, where they had the incredible opportunity to explore Monash University’s Caulfield and Clayton campuses. They engaged with a variety of state-of-the-art facilities, including the library, media lab, stock market simulator, and design workshops. Beyond the academic experience, they embraced campus life by participating in a Q&A session with students, discovering Melbourne’s famous laneways, and even getting up close with Australia’s unique wildlife, including kangaroos and koalas at the Melbourne Zoo.
A huge congratulations to ISD grade 11 student Aditya Varshney for his remarkable achievement in making it to the finals and securing third place! His dedication and hard work exemplify the spirit of innovation and global collaboration that the competition stands for.
The Global Change It Challenge 2025 was not only a competition but a journey of learning, cultural exchange, and inspiration. It served as a platform for young changemakers to connect, collaborate, and take steps toward a brighter future. We look forward to seeing what the next generation of innovators will bring to the world stage!
