KG Field Trip (Sun 27 Apr)

As part of ISD Kindergarten’s current Unit of Inquiry—“People tell stories in a variety of ways to express their ideas, feelings, experiences, and values”—our young learners will attend a dance workshop at Jatra Biroti on Sunday, 27th of April.
This workshop is a special opportunity for children to explore how dance can be a meaningful and expressive form of storytelling. Through guided movement and rhythm activities, students will learn how stories can come to life using their bodies, facial expressions, and music—no words needed!
Dance not only nurtures creativity and emotional expression, but it also strengthens gross motor skills, body awareness, and social-emotional development. This experience will help children connect movement with meaning, and understand that stories can be shared in many forms—just like the ones we read or tell.
We are excited to see our Kindergarten students express themselves, collaborate with peers, and experience joy and confidence through this expressive art form.
