As part of the Sharing the Planet Unit of Inquiry, our Nursery students will be heading to Zinda Park on Wednesday May 14, for a special unit celebration that connects classroom learning with real-world exploration.
Throughout this unit, students have been inquiring into the differences between living and nonliving things, wondering about the needs of living things and our responsibility to care for the planet. The visit to Zinda Park will offer a meaningful opportunity for our youngest learners to observe nature, engage their senses, make connections to the world around them and reflect on their learning.
Families have been invited to join the celebration, where children will proudly share their knowledge and discoveries while enjoying the beauty of the outdoors. We hope this event will foster a love for nature and sustainability from an early age.
