We are pleased to invite all Grade 3 parents to an upcoming information session about one of the most exciting events in the Primary Years Programme: the Grade 3 School Sleepover!
At ISD the sleepover is more than just a fun night—it’s a carefully planned experiential learning opportunity that helps our students develop key IB Learner Profile Attributes such as Risk-taking, Caring, Communicating, and being Balanced. It encourages children to step outside their comfort zones in a safe and supportive environment, fostering independence and teamwork.
During the session, we will walk you through the goals, schedule, and safety measures, and highlight how this experience supports the development of Approaches to Learning (ATL) Skills, including Self-management, Social Skills, and Thinking Skills. From setting up sleeping arrangements to participating in group activities and bedtime routines, your child will engage in real-life learning that builds confidence and resilience.
We encourage all families to attend and discover how the sleepover connects to our broader PYP learning journey. Teachers will be available to answer questions and provide insights into how we ensure a positive and meaningful experience for every student.
