On 6th May, ISD school community came together to experience a truly meaningful event—the Grade 10 MYP Personal Project Exhibition. Far more than a display of final outcomes, the exhibition was a celebration of each student’s unique learning journey—marked by personal passions, perseverance, and authentic growth. Throughout this journey, students engaged deeply with topics close to their hearts, ranging from sustainability and mental health to innovation, cultural identity, and more. With carefully chosen learning goals, they conducted independent research, applied ATL skills, and developed thoughtful products that reflected both personal relevance and academic rigour. Their presentations revealed not only what they created, but also the values, challenges, and skills that shaped their process.
It was truly inspiring to see parents, peers, teachers, and visiting guests engage so thoughtfully with the projects on display. Many walked away moved by the students’ confidence, clarity of purpose, and the strong sense of ownership they brought to their work. We are incredibly proud of our Grade 10 students—for their resilience, reflection, and creativity. Their projects were a testament to what meaningful, student-driven learning can achieve.
