Boishakhi Mela at ISD – Sun 13 April

Dear ISD Community,
We are delighted to inform you that the ISD Sunshine Committee is organizing a Bangla New Year Celebration to
welcome the year 1432 on our school premises. As part of the festivities, we will be hosting a Boishakhi Carnival on the 13th of April Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in front of the reception area.

The fair is an opportunity to celebrate and promote the rich culture, heritage, and traditions of Bangladesh.
Food: Fuchka, chotpoti, pitha, pickles, coconut water, lemonade, lassi, mango sherbet, sweets, etc.
Please note: No junk food (chips, fast food) or fizzy drinks are allowed.
Handicrafts: Traditional Bangladeshi toys and decorations made of wood, clay, bamboo, or paper.
Clothing: Sarees, panjabis, fatuas, salwar kameez, and traditional fabrics such as grameen checks and Nokshi katha.
Accessories: Bangles (churi), earrings, necklaces.
Other attractions: Face painting and mehendi art.
