Diploma Programme Events in Term 2

The commencement of the IB world exams on April 24, 2024 marked a significant milestone for the Class of 2024 as they put their knowledge and skills into practice, demonstrating their readiness for the challenges outside there. The DP exams successfully ended on May 17, 2024.

According to the DP Science reviewed syllabi, ISD introduced Collaborative Science Projects (CSP) in March 2024. The 10 hours group work was concluded by presentations on May 22 that exemplified teamwork, creativity and passion for Science exploration. The following were some of the Grade 11 CSPs carried into completion;

• Energy consumption at ISD
• Water management in ISD
• Effects of urbanization on biodiversity
• E- waste
• Carbon footprint

The Class of 2024 achieved a remarkable 100% pass rate for the award of US High Diplomas. This is a testament to the seniors’ hard work and endless dedication of the DP faculty. This was celebrated during the colorful graduation ceremony on May 30, 2024.

Last but not least, the Class of 2025 cohort completed their Term 2 exams on May 28, 2024. In this regard, Grade 11 reports will be published on ManageBac on June 10, 2024.
