G4 Unit of Inquiry Parent Information Session

At ISD we are committed to supporting the holistic development of our students, as such Grade 4 will soon begin an important Unit of Inquiry under the transdisciplinary theme of Who We Are.
The central idea for this unit is:
Humans experience physical, emotional, and social changes throughout adolescence that shape identity.
In the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP), this unit is designed to help students explore the changes they will experience as they grow older. We will be addressing these changes in a sensitive, age-appropriate manner through inquiry, discussions, literature, and creative expression.
During the parent information session, we will:
Share the key concepts, lines of inquiry, and learning outcomes.
Explain how the unit will be taught in a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment.
Discuss how you can support conversations at home.
Answer any questions you might have.

We believe that partnership with families is essential, especially when addressing topics related to personal growth and identity. Your involvement will ensure students feel supported both at school and at home.
