Grade 4 Unit Celebration: Sharing the Planet, Sharing the Learning

Grade 4 is gearing up for our Unit Celebration on Thursday, March 20th. We have been exploring the theme of “Sharing the Planet,” with a focus on our central idea: “ecosystems are made up of living things that are interdependent.” Our inquiry dives into the interconnectedness of ecosystems, the impacts of human and natural influences, and the ways we can take responsibility within these systems.

Our students have embraced this challenge with enthusiasm. They have envisioned what the Primary Well should look and feel like and are utilizing Backwards Design to bring their ideas to life. As a result, we are developing projects, advocating for animal conservation charities, and sharing insights from our recent residential trip to Gazipur, all while linking it to our inquiries—and much more!
