Grade 5 to 6 Transition

As we draw close to the end of the Academic Year, we are making plans for new beginnings in the next academic year in August. With this in mind, the Secondary team is looking forward to welcoming the new Grade 6 students to the Middle Years programme (MYP)..

In order to prepare for this upcoming transition, the Grade 5 students will have a two day transition event in the Secondary School on 5th and 6th June, 2024. This event will kick off with parents and students meeting the secondary leadership team on the 5th morning. Following this, students will have day long activities to help introduce them to the MYP Programme and the expectations of Secondary school. On the second day, students will once again have the chance to explore secondary school but this time, they will have MYP classes where they will get a chance to be familiar with the classroom set up and some of the secondary teachers.

We look forward to welcoming  the Grade 5 students to Secondary!
