ISD Service Saturday

Date: Saturday, 28th September 2024  

Time: 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM  

ISD service groups will be hosting our monthly student-led Service as Action/CAS initiatives, designed to support and engage with the local community and partner schools. Our student leaders plan and host half-day learning experiences, such as workshops, science projects, drama performances, art exhibitions, donations and sports activities, to connect with community partners and meet Service as action/CAS learning outcomes.

Ongoing Service group Initiatives at ISD 2024/25.

FFC (Families for Children) Service Group: Supporting the well-being of orphans by teaching swimming, sports skills, and fun learning activities at ISD.  

Solmaid Service Team: Raising funds and educating underprivileged children in basic life skills and safety awareness.  

LEF(Love Education food) Service Team: Delivering online lessons and collaborating on Performing Arts events with the LEF for Life School.  

The Green Committee: Promoting a greener ISD through recycling, reducing waste, and raising environmental awareness.  

Rise and Shine: Partnering with Abinta Kabir Foundation School to empower young girls through creative activities and fundraising. 

Sajida Foundation Climate: Tackling climate change through innovative solutions and collaborations.  

Dreams in Action (Jaago Foundation): Providing quality education and learning opportunities for underprivileged children in Bangladesh.
