ISD Whole School Music Concert (Sat 17 May)

Dear ISD Faculty, Students, Parents, and Alumni,
We invite you to the 2025 ISD Concert, a celebration of our students’ musical talents and growth.
On Saturday, May 17th at 3:00 p.m., the ISD Auditorium will come alive with performances from students in Grades 1 to 11, sharing their musical journeys via a variety of styles, instruments, and ensemble work. From classical piano solos, duets, to guitar pieces, the concert promises an afternoon full of musical talent.
This year’s concert reflects the creativity at the heart of ISD. Each performance highlights our students’ dedication, discipline, and unique musical works developed throughout the school year.
We’ve spoken to a few of our performers as they prepare:
Aditya Varshney (Grade 11) shares: “The piano has long been a meaningful part of my life. This concert offers another valuable opportunity to play my favourite instrument and connect with the audience via music – I’m excited to play in front of an audience again.”
Rania Sobhan (Grade 11) adds: “It’s been a journey. I still remember playing my first song in KG. This year, I’m performing a duet — it’s rather intimidating, however, it’s exciting to perform music with someone else.”
Zuneira Mostofa (Grade 4) says: “I love piano class. Practicing for this concert made me realise how fun playing the piano can be. I want to keep doing this every year!”
