MYP and DP  Exam in the Gym from 14-16 Jan

MYP Grade 9 and 10 Internal MYP Exams will take place in the Gym from 14-16 January. These exams are aimed to help students to become familiar with exam conditions, timing and expectations. Exams are considered as one ‘type’ of assessment in the MYP and does not have any special weighting or credit. Teachers will provide students with a study guide to help them focus on content and concepts ahead of the exams in January. 

Students will have exams in the morning and afternoon and have supervised study time in-between. Morning exams will begin at 8.00am and afternoon exams at 1.00PM. All MYP exams will last for 1.30hrs duration.

We request parents to work in partnership with the school by ensuring that your child wakes up early and leaves home, after a healthy breakfast, to arrive at school before 8.00AM. This will help students to stay calm and mentally ready to take their exam

The MYP exam schedule is given below:

Grade 11 & 12 Term 1 (January 2025) Exams 

DP exams will be administered on campus between January 7- 16. According to the ISD secondary handbook there will be no retake for these exams.

DP Term 1 Exams Venue- School Gym

Grade 11– January 7- 13 (End of Term 1 Exams)

Grade 12– January 7- 16 (Mock Exams)

DP exam information (January, 2025)

• DP students are expected to come to school 30 minutes before the exam starts. Note that latecomers will not be allowed in the exam rooms.
• DP students are expected to be in school only when they have exams.
• DP students must leave the campus when they finish exams. It is important to make transport arrangements accordingly.
• Grade 11 students will resume their regular classes on January 14, on the other hand, Grade 12 students commence classes on January 19.
