Service in Action

Recently, Grade 4 students visited Bookworm to purchase 20 new books for the Rohingya Refugees. Books were carefully selected for different age groups of beginning readers of English books. The students considered their favorite authors and tried to find books that had many visuals to support new readers. Thank you to all the students and families who participated by buying snacks after school.

Additionally, 10 books were purchased to donate to Solamid a local community school. These books were purchased with the funds raised by the Primary Student Council on the last two dress-up days. We have a very generous parent and student body. Thank you for fostering the love of words and helping others fall in love with great stories.
