Service Saturday, Saturday 2nd March 2024
- By ISD Connected
- March 6, 2024
ISD service groups are student-led initiatives aimed at supporting and interacting with the local community to meet the learning outcomes of MYP Service as Action and DP CAS programs. Currently, ISD hosts six student-led service groups: Families For Children (FFC) Service Group, Utsho Service Team, Love Education and Food (LEF) Service Team, Diamonds In The Rough (DITR), The GREEN Committee, and Rise and Shine Group.
Service Saturday activities aim to unite the community in collaborative service projects benefiting both local and international partners, fostering positive relationships. Student leaders organize half-day learning experiences once a month on Saturdays at ISD, inviting community partners to participate. During these sessions, students conduct workshops, science projects, performances, and sports activities for local children.
