University Counseling Update

Happy 2025! On behalf of Ms. Tasnuva and myself in the College Counselling Office (CCO), we extend a warm welcome to students, families, and staff as we begin this exciting new year at ISD. The CCO is already buzzing with energy and we’re thrilled to support our students in their academic journeys.

We were honored to host Mr. Nishant Jadhav from the University of Sydney on January 12, 2025. He delivered an engaging and interactive presentation that covered key topics such as admissions, student life, scholarships, programs, majors, and minors, as well as valuable insights into studying in Australia. This marked the University of Sydney’s first visit to ISD, and it was a fantastic success.

Mandy Loh from the University of California will be hosting a virtual session about the UC system. Grade 11-2 students are invited to attend, and other students must seek prior permission from their classroom teachers.

Cardiff University In-Person Info Session
2:00 pm – 3:00 pm
Secondary Well
David Evans, Regional Manager at Cardiff University, will be hosting an in-person session for ISD students. Students must obtain permission in advance from their classroom teachers to attend.

EdTour Bangladesh USA University Fair
9:00 am – 10:00 am
Secondary Well
EdTour will be back at ISD, bringing at least seven US universities for this interactive and engaging fair.
