Thank you to the 128 students, staff and parents who completed our school lunch survey. The feedback has been extremely helpful and we would like to share the main outcomes of the results that we have received. I hope that you find these interesting and -indeed – food for thought.
We also received over 60 comments with suggestions on how to improve the food quality to make it a more healthy and enjoyable experience at ISD. Our food service managers will now consider what changes and improvements to make in the coming weeks to understand how to best respond to these requests.
As we reach higher as a school, we will be offering another survey in early 2025 to review how our community feels these improvements are working.

[…] Dear ISD Community Members, You may have read the earlier announcement from Mr Chris Boyle that he will be leaving ISD at the end of the current school year. I know that we receive this news of Chris’s departure with sadness. Chris has served our secondary school with exceptional leadership, an amazing commitment to our students and dedication towards our staff and parents for the past 4+ years. Without doubt, his tireless energy, resourcefulness and determination to make ISD a strong and flourishing international school will be much missed by our community. We are simply grateful for the contribution that Chris has made to our school. At the same time, please join me in congratulating Chris on his appointment next year as the new Secondary School Principal at the American Cooperative School of Tunis. We wish Chris and Tiffany much success in their exciting new adventure working in North Africa. The Secondary School Principal position will now be advertised and we will immediately start the search for Chris’s replacement. We will ensure that the appointment process will involve the participation and input from staff, students and parents in order to identify a dynamic, knowledgeable, experienced and well-qualified new principal who will be the ideal fit for our school. The plan is for ISD to make a new appointment by December 2024. This will support a successful transition for the new principal during the remaining months of this school year. I will, of course, brief the community further in the coming weeks with the next steps in the principal search process. […]
